The best beer in town, good service if you would like something relaxed and convivial. What more can you ask? Food is good too, but this isnt a restaurant so dont expect to be served quickly for that, but still, its good and its worth it.
We went out of our way for dinner and beer. I was not disappointed. They were a little slow to pick up the plates but its a pub more than a restaurant so no stars lost. The pretzel was an amazing way to start Oktoberfest. And oh man the beer selection was interesting and delicious. Fun decor too.
Great Beer and atmosphere I went here with two friends to catch up over beers after getting into the city and everything was great. The service was friendly, beers are of great flavour, the pulled pork poutine was great, and the waterfront patio (or as close as you can get in the city) was nice.
Great pub/brasserie with a really nice patio looking out on the canal. Food was really good, even though they say their 'priority is beer' . And, yes, the beer was superb, rivaling what we get in Vermont. They brew it on site. Not a 'fine dining' experience but Dawn and I had a great lunch with a beer each and got out of there for 42 bucks Canadian.
Knowledgeable about craft beer but seemed like they treated it like a personal club. Service was ok liked the fact they prep pub fare food in front of you
