Service started a bit slow but they were busy. The food was very good and despite no one in our party speaking French and the waitress not speaking English we had fun figuring out our orders. She did a good job and was friendly.Both the deep fried and pan fried fish were awesome and fries were great.
I've heard for the longest time that this place had one of the best fish and chips around so I finally stop by to check it out. It was really good! Nice comfortable place, enough personal space to move around the tables and friendly atmosphere. The fish was fresh and and the batter fried perfectly. The batter was a bite cake like as far as the texture goes but it's just me. Overall, yes it's was worth stopping by and giving it a shot! I would definitely go again.

Great place (and maybe only place) to eat fish and chips in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu. The prices and portions are good. We always take a 4 pieces with fries for 2, so it's a real bargain :-)
